Print Heaven: Sonia Delaunay Exhibition – Tate Modern April 14, 2015 16:54
It’s on until August, so we’ll be back… and if you haven’t been to the current Sonia Delaunay exhibition at the Tate, suffice to say it’s a goodie. If you love fashion, textiles and good design, you’ll be in your element at this exhibition. Sonia Delaunay’s work feels effortlessly contemporary, despite much of the collection dating back to the early / mid twentieth century. Truly inspirational, particularly at a time when we are developing our Autumn Winter range, and starting this think about Spring 2016!
- Best bit: The room full of geometric fabric designs from around 1925 onwards.
- Funniest moment: Trying to make it into the Tate with a small baby in tow
Aside from the lengthy (and totally understandable) negotiation process regarding access to the arts for babies, it’s worth a visit. Alternatively, you can enjoy a selection of Sonia Delaunay’s work on Tate’s dedicated Pinterest board.
