Macrame Plant Hangers

Buy Macrame Plant Hangers, made in the UK.

If you love houseplants, displaying them in macrame plant hangers placed around your home is just a wonderful way to enjoy them. We love living with plants, so it made sense for us to create our own range of indoor plant hangers to enjoy bringing a touch of greenery and the great outdoors inside.

Our range of macrame plant hangers now includes 12 beautiful colours to choose from and two different lengths. We make each indoor plant hanger by hand, here in Kent. We use recycled cotton; beautiful, sustainable and made to last with a FSC certified solid wooden ring.

If you spot a colour you like, but you require a slightly different length or design, please get in touch and we'll do our utmost to create the perfect macrame plant hanger for your needs.

Size guide for adding pots to the Macrame Plant Hangers

As hopefully our gallery of images shows above, the plant hangers will accommodate a range of different styles and shapes of pot. Our indoor plant hangers do have a little 'flex' in them, making it easy to size up or size down your pot, depending on the size and growth of your plant. As a guide, we tend to use a minimum size of 2.5 litres - a medium sized house plant. Large pots just look fab, with lots of foliage tumbling out. If you are in any doubt, you can always email us (hello@denysandfielding.co.uk) and we'll do our best to help. Because we make all of the macrame plant hangers ourselves, we can always adapt the size of the basket section, to make a little larger, if needed.

How to display your indoor plant hanger

Some people feel a little nervy about creating a hole in their ceiling in order to display their plant hanger! It's totally understandable but really quite an easy job. If you are going straight into plasterboard, it's a good idea to get a strong plasterboard hanger - which can essentially 'grip' the screw hook into place, ensuring your plant hanger is stable. Ideally you would screw into a joist. Alternatively, you can position your plant hanger against a wall, or suspend from a beam.
